EXPECTED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree from an accredited school in Interior Design or Interior Architecture;

  • Min. 2 years experience working with a high-end, residential interior design firm;

  • Proficiency in SketchUp (including Layout) and AutoCAD or Vectorworks is a must;

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Houzz Pro, Studio Designer, and Programa is a plus;

  • Must be extremely detail-oriented, resourceful, proactive, a self-starter and capable of working in a fast-paced collaborative environment where problem solving is a constant expectation;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to adapt to the daily needs of the design team.





We are looking for an Associate Designer to join our interior design studio in Sacramento, CA.  This position is for someone who can “roll up their sleeves” and handle a multitude of tasks - large and small. Our ideal candidate is able to work both independently and as part of a team, is highly motivated, extremely detail-oriented, organized, and has a desire to be involved in a growing boutique interior design firm where they can have a large impact. 



YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ARE ...

  • Preparing layouts and construction documents;

  • Preparing client presentations and budgets;

  • Attending site visits with design team, contractors, vendors, and clients;

  • Coordinating vendors and bids with their affiliated projects;

  • Assisting with sourcing furniture, finish materials, lighting, fabrics, and all things "interior";

  • Executing client installations and styling;

  • You must be able to manage multiple projects at a time;

  • Administrative support to senior designers;

  • Organize and maintain project files;

  • Highly organized, high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with a team are musts;

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where deadlines must be met.
